Tingyun Wang wins Rising Stars Competition
The Rubinstein Music Academy is extremely proud of Tingyun Wang (student of Dr. Denis Evstuhin) because of a series of distinguished accomplishments in major concerto competitions this year.
Besides winning the 1st Prize at 2026 Rising Stars Concerto Competition, presented by the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra in Wisconsin, she also earned the 3rd Prize and Top Piano Performance Prize at 2026 Young People's Symphony Concert Association (YPSCA) Concerto Competition (organized in association with the Minnesota Orchestra).
We extend our warmest congratulations to Tingyun and to Dr. Evstuhin on these outstanding accomplishments and wish them continued success in future performances and competitions. Bravo!

Harold performs with Minnesota Orchestra
Our student Harold Fang made a triumphant debut with the legendary Minnesota Orchestra in November, performing seven times the Grieg Piano Concerto in A minor. Bravo, Harold—keep it up!
Harold Fang wins three competitions!
Congratulations to Harold Fang (student of Dr. Denis Evstuhin), who won three concerto competitions within a month: 1st Place at Rising Stars Concerto Competition in La Crosse, WI; Grand Prize at Mankato Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition (Mankato, MN) and 1st Place at YPSCA Concerto Competition (Minneapolis, MN)!!! Last Saturday Harold made his debut with La Crosse Symphony Orchestra! Now I am looking forward to his performances with the Minnesota Orchestra in November and Mankato Symphony Orchestra in 2026!

Besides receiving the $1300 prize he will appear as a soloist with the Chippewa Valley Symphony performing Grieg Piano Concerto!!
